The fourth quarter is here and with it comes bundle season! Whether those bundles are in the fourth quarter of 2025 or the first quarter of 2026, this post will help you get ready for them. We’ll look at what bundles are, how they help you grow your business, how to find them, and how to prepare for them!
What Are Business Bundles and How Do They Work?
First off, what are business bundles? Bundles allow a customer to purchase or subscribe to one product—the bundle—and gain access to a whole bunch of products.
The bundle will have a host who has asked others business to owners to contribute a product to the bundle.
The products in the bundle will usually cover many different business topics like social media, email marketing, content creation, productivity, etc. Or the bundle can have a theme all around one topic such as AI or goal planning.
The bundle price may be free or for a low price. I’ve seen bundles priced at $9 to $99 or more. Whatever the price, the total will be much lower than the total value of all the products in the bundle. This is a huge incentive in getting people to buy or sign up as they are getting a lot of valuable products for one low price or possibly for free.
Once someone signs up or purchases a bundle, they don’t have access to all the products offered automatically. Instead they then need to sign up for all the products that they want to have individually. This is great for contributors as it means they are gaining subscribers for their email lists. Otherwise the host would be the only one benefiting from the bundle subscribers.
Which brings us to…
What Is the Purpose of Bundles?
A bundle puts you and your business in front of new audiences, helping you grow your email list. This is the main goal for most contributors. For example, I went from 300 subscribers to over 1,400 by contributing to bundles!
You can also make money from bundles. If you’re contributing to a paid bundle, the host usually offers affiliate commissions. So if someone purchases the bundle through your link, you earn a commission. The percentage varies by host.
Many bundle hosts allow contributors to offer upsells as another way to make money from the bundle. An upsell is a discounted product offered immediately after someone signs up for your free contribution.
And finally, bundles build brand visibility and authority. By contributing to bundles, especially those hosted by well-known business owners in your niche, you get your name in front of new audiences and grow your credibility.
How to Find Business Bundles
One great way is by joining Facebook groups.
Here are a couple of my favorites:
Your inbox can be another great place. It’s possible that people you already follow will run or promote a bundle you can contribute to.
Just be sure the bundles you apply for are a good fit for your target audience.
For example, my target audience is business coaches and service providers, so I focus on bundles aimed at those groups. By doing this, I know the subscribers I gain are actually interested in what I write about, and possibly in the services and products I offer.
What You Need to Apply to Bundles
There are certain things that all bundle hosts will ask for. Here is a list so you can go ahead and have these things ready:
- A headshot. Every bundle I’ve applied to asked for a square headshot. I keep two sizes handy: 600×600 and 1080×1080.
- A short bio. The length varies by host, but around 200 characters usually works. (Pro tip: use a word counter to check.)
- A product image. Again, square works best—same sizes as the headshot.
- A product name and price. Keep these easy to grab when needed.
- A product description. Length varies, but short and clear is best. Around 200 characters is a good start.
You don’t need to have all of this ready before applying, but it’s helpful to know what will be required before your start filling out the application.
Pro tip: Start a swipe file. Every time I submit a product for a bundle, I save its name, price, and description in one file. That way I can quickly reuse it later. I also keep a folder on my computer with all my product images ready to go.
Be Prepared to Promote
For bundles to succeed, all contributors need to promote them.
Luckily, hosts usually make this easy by providing promo images and swipe copy for emails and social media. You’ll usually receive these ahead of the promotional period so you can schedule everything in advance.
One important thing to keep in mind: don’t overwhelm your audience by promoting too many bundles at once. Keep a calendar of promotional periods so you don’t apply for bundles that overlap.
Bundles can be a powerful tool to grow your email list, make affiliate income, and build your visibility, all while providing tons of value to new audiences. By preparing your assets ahead of time, choosing bundles that align with your audience, and staying on top of your promotions, you’ll be ready to make the most of bundle season without the overwhelm.
